I think Vitamin D is best for children.
Nursing mothers should also take lots of vitamin D and to try to get their babies outside the house several times a week, but please avoid sunburn. Vitamin D supplements should be given to make sure the child is getting something he or she critically needs.

Default Vitamines

I think if the mother takes vitamins and the baby it's a Brest feeding then the baby does not need to take an additional vitamin. Let me give you an example;
I have three children 15Y; 12Y and 10Y. I always cook for them and make sure they eat healthy food. My oldest daughter got sick and the family doctor told me that she does not get enough vitamins and that's why she feels sick most of the time.
I think it is a good idea to take vitamins; the most important think is what king of Vitamins are those and what the baby needs.

I think vitamins are good for children. I would want to make sure the kids have extra vitamin C, B vits, calcium, I could name alot of supplements, but it's true that the normal kid doesn't get as many fruits and veggies as suggested.

You know what is good for kids though?

QUEST Multivitamins, they just came out with Transformers character shaped vitamins, and they taste really good! My cousins love them.

You can get them at Walmart (thats where I get it), Whole Foods, and grocery stores too!
