I'm sorry to hear of this, mollyL. I happen to know that there are some new and exciting treatments and your dad will be offered options that were not heard of just a decade ago. Then according to his PSA numbers and Gleason score, sometimes they choose to just "watch" certain cases of prostate cancer. Keep us posted on how he's doing!
