Default Anyone on Yaz Birth Contol

Is anyone here on Yaz birth control? I've seen the commercial but would like to know what the major side effect are.

Any experiences?

I have seen the commercials as well, and have heard great things about it.

I am looking to get on some type of birth control, so I am considering this option as well.

Are they still doing the birth control that they implant under the skin in the arm? I always thought that those were way beyond what was needed. Mostly I just hate the idea of implants for anything.

I'm not entirely sure, but I think that is still an option. I can't see myself getting an implant, or even an IUD. I would much rather take a pill everyday.

I have only been on one prescription that I think might not even be available anymore. I had to go on it because I was in the military and I was young and single, a requirement they had in certain situations so young women would not get pregnant even tho I had no intentions of it. I had bad reactions from it and had to quit. Every month just before my "once a month" I would pass out. I did this at work and cracked my head open on my machinery and had to go in for testing for epilepsy and other possabilities they thought I had. After this happened a few times just before my day I stopped and told them that was enough, I was sure that was what it was being caused by the pill and sure enough the pass outs quit happening so I was always afraid to even try another brand so I never did. I never did the IUD thing either, just made sure I was careful best I could.
