Delayed Period After Stopping Birth Control Pill

I am 20 years old and was on a generic version of Diane 35 for almost 2 years. I originally was on it to help control my acne...when my skin got better I decided to give myself a break from it.

I stopped taking it in July and in August got my period only a couple days late. However, I have now missed my period for almost 4 straight months! (September, October, November...and soon December).

I am just curious if it is normal for your period to be this irregular/out of whack after coming off a pill??

Some other things to note:
- I am not sexually active
- A couple weeks ago I had some brown-ish discharge for about 4 days
