Tummy Tuck extra fluid!

Good morning! I had a tummy tuck 9 weeks ago. I have been doing fine and feeling great! I went to a Valentine's dance and danced up a storm. I didn't think anything of it, but on Monday I was ill and had vomited; caught a bug. I now noticed that my stomach is swollen and I may have extra fluid. It feels strange from before. I thinking I did something either when I was dancing or when I was ill. Now, I have extra swelling, etc. I started wearing the girdle again. I did call the doctor and they will get back to me, but the doctor's office is far away. Did anyone had this problem, if so, what did you do about it?
Also, how can you tell if you have extra fluid?
