Default Car accident

Yep, another question from me.

You see, my family seems to be accident prone. My mother had a head-on collision and shattered her hip, pelvis and parts of her foot. She can't walk the same, even two years after. She'll never be without pain.

Right now parts of her are held together with pins and screws. But, I'd like to know, would it have just been easier for her to get a new hip?

Good question. I would probably say yes, as that is a lot of injuries. I am glad though that she made it through it. My parents both had pins and screws in their hips and they would have been off with an replacement.
