breakfast ideas

Hi

I have been having this for breakfast:
a slices of bread with honey pasted on it instead of butter, and a glass of lactose-free milk or soy beverage.

What do you think about the above for breakfast? Any other breakfast ideas?
I find that my stomach does not digest cereal very well, it feels "crunchy" in my stomach. Also oatmeal tend to not make me full.

Cheers,

Tom

Hi Tom, Oats are easier on the digestion than other grains, so it is worth trying oats in one form or another. I like porridge and I find as well as helping my cholesterol it leaves me feeling full all morning. You can sweeten it if you choose, and you can add fruit to it. If that is not for you try a different oat cereal, we have a brand called Cheerios and they do a version with just oats, they are quite nice and not crunchy. My doctor recommends a banana for breakfast, so you could try that.

That's right, oats are more gentle on the digestion. As Justontime said, oats do not have to be crunchy and uncomfortable.

I'd consider adding a low-fat peanut butter to the honey on whole wheat bread. That's part of what I've had to eat today so far.

I also have a slice of low fat cheese, with no bread a little later in the morning.

Smoothie for breakfast

Hey, sometimes i cant eat in the morning but i know this is not a good way to start the day.
Yoghurtdriks with fibres helps me to settle my stomagh or try a smoothie,
soymilk is my favorit with banana and mango, wich contains lots of vitamines c and is good for your stomach!
Have a try, its very tastfull!!
Goodluck

I guess you need some protein too. If you don't feel full after your breakfast, you can try cerials with chia seeds (just add a scoop to it). I love my Isagenix shake!

Eat less, move more. Eat 2 to 3 meals a day with breakfast being the largest and dinner the smallest. Avoid sodas and junk foods.
