Default Years of constant twitching

Hi all,
I'm getting worried about my little brother. For several years now he has had this stange tic/twitch. It has not been the same all along. I went something like this: It started with a raspy noise from the throat and a flexing of the neck, to the contortion of him eye brows and face making his hole head move up slightly, and just in the last few days he has started making a little almost chirp like sound and it can happen as often as every 10 seconds. The face contractions was not so bad because he didnt make a noise so it wasn't as noticible but not this new 'chrip' is extremely annoying and when you say something he gets moody or emotional so we cannot communicate with him about it.

This may have nothing to do with it but about a year ago, every night he would begin to cry (11 years old) and would fall asleep crying and he could not be felt alone due to fear of something, so this was mental. He then experienced abdominal pain, but only at night, and this too would make him cry. But when ever a doctor, on or off dutie, would see him the pain vanished. Until today (13 years old) he is very easily frightened and must have someone present in the room for him to fall asleep. And he won't even talk about this to us.

It is begining to scare me and I think he really needs help.
PS I have heard that Omega 3 will stop twitched but I dont know how reliable this is. I have tried to put it in his food without him noticing but he always tastes it and knows, and he would probably not take it knowing it is for his twitch due to him sensitivity.
Thank you
