Default Twitching...HELP PLEASE

My fiance is 36 and we have been together for 8 years now. When we first started dating he would twitch a little bit in his sleep, but only if he was really busy with work, and it wasn't bad at all.

Since then he now thrashes about in his sleep so much we can't even share the same bed, he twitches everywhere from his legs to his finger tips, it lasts about 40 seconds, and then it keeps going around every 10-20 minutes. He also never used to snore unless he slept on his back but now he snores loudly no matter where he lays.

We looked into RLS but he doesn't have any pain in his legs, although even when awake it comforts him to rub his feet together while he's sitting down.

My late husband used to rub his feet together, it is so annoying isn't it? I'm not sure about the twitching but I think he should see a doctor, they can do some investigations. As you mention snoring I wonder if it is sleep apnoea, if so it certainly needs medical attention.

I would agree with the other post here that looking into sleap apnea is a good idea. When they do a sleep study they can determine alot about someone. Also it can have some huge improvments in quality of life if you start getting treated for it. I was someone who scored 69.1 on the AHI index. Since beening treated with CPAP I have seen tremendous improvements in my health.
