Yes i had acne and popped pimples. And they did leave scars. One time it left the common known pit. Like a shallow little hole on my face and after time it healed, I still have mild scars and only from the pimples i popped. Dont pop them.

Personally i find it all depends. I've been known to pop a few pimples in my days but only when it's a full out whitehead and if it's in a very obvious place on my face. i find that if you wash your hands and squeeze gently (not until theres blood) then wash your face in warm water is the best way. One tip: i find that when i'm out in the sun whether it be summer or winter, the sun seems to dry up my blackheads and zits...so if anything.. be sure to get some sun, but of course not too much..

Smile Re: Should i be Popping my Pimples?

Nooooooooo... Do'nt do this...I think u should use Home made Pimple Treatments... It's really very effective... Never do Pimple Popping...Home Treatment like u can use Orange peel is very effective. Pound the orange peel with water on a piece stone and apply to acne affected areas.

Mix equal amount of lemon juice and groundnut oil to make a paste. Apply on face and leave for 15 minutes and then wash off with water. Another good remedy to prevent pimples.

Before using treatment u should know which type about ur skin type? I can give u a link http://www.poppingpimples.net which will provide all the knowledge of pimples...

Steaming the face first, to soften the skin and relax the tiny muscles, will help prevent scarring, as long as you aren't dealing with cystic acne or really deep blackheads. There is a chance that the contents of the pimple will create problems in skin that has contact with them as the reaction may spread, so you have to be sure to keep everything neatly contained!
Hey thank you so much for the information..very helpful.

I was skeptical of the Shielo Complexion Scrub - because Shielo is known for their hair products, however I am so pleased with its effectiveness.

I rely on other reviewers remarks and so I am writing to tell you that it is definately worth the price. I can't believe how quickly it clears up my face. When I think of all the money I've spent on products over the years - and I'm in my 40s! I only wish the Shielo Complexion Scrub was around when I was a teenager!

I had a cut-like split on the edge of my nostril that would not heal with numerous other products for over 9 months. I tried hydrocortione cream which usually works well on blemishes; I tried other agressive lotions, including ones with alpha-hydroxy. None of these worked. When I discovered Dr Max Powers SCAR SERUM, it worked within a couple of weeks, completely healed the split back to totally normal. You need to be patient for whatever number of days that the skin still has a peel-able layer. Eventually it will completely smooth out. My experience reflects what "The Lil Scar that Could" says, that it works for healing and preventing a scar more so than getting rid of an existing scar. I believe it can work to improve existing scars, if not remove them, especially if one if persistant. This serum goes a LONG way on small cuts or blemishes that can create a scar if left untreated.

I've been doing popping for years and I do it constantly, if I stop for a day or two the redness is gone(otherwise the pimples become red from constant squeezing http://www.howto-getridofhives.com) - it is a nasty habit to get into and I don't think it helps in ANY way
