Default Right side back pain for 18 months

Hi there,

i'm a 38 yr old male who has smoked on and off for about 20 yrs. I developed a dule pain on my right side approximately Oct/Nov 07...i went to my md and got a lung x-ray in Jan 08...x-ray showed nothing...pain continued and doctor suggested it was a triger point and i should see a massage therapist...(i excersise 3 to 4 times a week with weights). After my massage therapy i felt better for a couple of days but the pain then returned. One year later i went back to my doctor and told him that the pain was now radiating into my right ribcage and sometimes my spine....i had a spinal x-ray and ultrasound of my kidneys, gal bladder, liver and abdomen..everything showed up ok. i've stopped working out for the last three weeks and i dont feel any better...I still feel knots and discomfort on my right side. I looked up lung cancer and i dont seem to have any symptoms except chronic back pain....Can anyone relate to my situation or provide any advice?

Thank You
Carbs
